KCC supplies and installs a full range of marine fender systems for jetties, piers, dolphins, quay walls, and floating pontoons across Hong Kong. Fender types include cylindrical rubber fenders, D-fenders, W-fenders, cone fenders, pneumatic (Yokohama) fenders, EVA foam-filled fenders, and bespoke fabricated fender frames — selected to match the berthing energy of the design vessel and the geometry of the structure.
Fender panels, fixing chains, shackles, and backing structures are supplied and installed as a complete package. KCC's commercial divers handle all below-waterline fixing, including drilling and grouting of anchor bolts into concrete or masonry, installation of through-bolts, and fitting of fender chains and anti-rotation devices. Above-waterline works are carried out from barge, scaffold, or work platform as required.
Compliance: Fender design follows PIANC guidelines and BS 6349 (Maritime Structures). All fixing works are carried out to the structural engineer's specification and the relevant HKMD requirements.
Correctly specified and installed fenders are the primary line of defence against berthing damage to both vessels and structures. KCC provides the full package — selection, supply, and diver installation — ensuring fenders are fixed correctly below the waterline where access is most difficult.
Floating Pontoon & Gangway Installation
Design, supply, and installation of HDPE and aluminium floating pontoons with gangways for marinas, yacht clubs, public piers, and private premises.
Marine Piling Support
Diver-assisted piling support — seabed preparation, pile guidance, toe inspection, and as-built survey — in support of piling contractors working in the marine environment.
Cofferdam Installation & Dewatering
Installation of sheet pile and temporary cofferdam systems for intertidal and submerged works, including dewatering, sealing, and removal on completion.
