KCC supplies and installs mooring buoys for vessels, marinas, yacht clubs, and marine facilities across Hong Kong waters. KCC selects the appropriate buoy type — foam-filled polyethylene, HDPE, or steel — based on the vessel size, mooring load, tidal range, and site exposure, and fits the buoy to the mooring system by diver.
Buoy fittings, pendants, and connections are sized to match the mooring system and vessel requirements. KCC can supply buoys to client specification or recommend appropriate products based on site conditions. All fittings are made up by commercial divers and inspected before the vessel is placed on the mooring.
Compliance: All diving operations are conducted under IMCA D 045 and HSE Diving at Work Regulations 1997. Buoy selection and sizing follows Hong Kong Marine Department guidance and relevant classification society requirements.
